These photos are examples of a wide range of postures with varying degrees of skill level.  A large part of my personal practice is a continual exploration of the limits of my body.  I find the mental and physical challenges to my balance, strength, flexibility and endurance invigorating and calming.  It is a way of life for me.  I hope when you look at the photos, you see possibility.  Please don't be intimidated and think that all of these postures are done in the average Yoga class.

Most of us are looking for balance in our lives, stress relief both mentally and physically.  In your personal experience of Yoga, you will find the right place in each posture where you are balancing expansion coupled with acceptance.  Just as in our daily life, we want to strive toward goals while still being content and happy with what we have.  Let each experience (whether it is Yoga or otherwise) be an unfolding, peeling away the layers to expose your true self.
